Odd Quirks that Will Give you Bad Credit

December 30th, 2011 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Good Bad Credit Score

MortgagesInVancouver.com Hi everyone, how are you? It’s Leah Coss with the Mortgage Centre. I wanted to go over credit scores, but most specifically, I want to talk about the crazy weird quirks that I see on a daily basis on peoples’ credit scores that just absolutely makes their score take a dump. It’s for the stupidest little reasons that they don’t even know about, or they weren’t paying attention, or bills got sent to the wrong address. There’s just weird things. So I wanted to go over the main four things that I come across that may be happening to you right now that you don’t even realize that is affecting your score in the most negative way possible. I’m talking scores of 540 when you should be trying to aim for 680 or above. OK, 540 is very bad, it limits your lenders to like one, if that. In fact, at that point, you are probably looking at private financing. So for those of you who know your score is bad, get your actual report so you can take a look and see if any of these things are on there. If you don’t know your score, but you think it might be bad, go and get your score. You can buy them online, or if you are unsure of your score, just come to me, we can do an application up and see if you qualify for a mortgage. And if you don’t, based on credit, then I can counsel you from there. But, OK, so here are some the crazy things that I see that affect your score in the most negative ways. First one is credit cards. Obviously people are like, “Oh no, credit cards

Credit Repair: This Sneaky Trick Raises Your Credit Score Legally and Quickly

September 14th, 2011 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Good Bad Credit Score

CreditRepairBook2010.com Credit repair do-it-yourself. In this video I explain one sneaky *but very legal* trick that almost no one knows about that not only helps you in your credit repair journey, but also raises your credit score nearly instantly. The sad truth is that there is an entire industry devoted to credit repair and they make hundreds of millions of dollars each and every year when anyone can do their own credit repair themselves and save thousands. The fact of the matter is that the law is on the side of the consumer! Since the Fair Credit Reporting Act was established, thousands of people have successfully put a stop to harassing collections agency calls, eliminated bad debt, and repaired their credit quickly, legally, and all by themselves. What those consumer credit counseling businesses won’t tell you (but they know all-too-well!) is that their services often do more harm than good! It’s true! When they make so-called “special arrangements” with your creditors, all they are doing is making an agreement on your behalf that you will pay off a percentage of the debt! But the bad part is that your credit is still damaged! I show you how to not only get rid of the debt that you have (often for free) but to clear those bad credit trade lines off of your credit report, which will then raise your credit score! Be sure to check out the second part of this video at http

How to improve bad credit score?

July 22nd, 2011 by admin | 8 Comments | Filed in Good Bad Credit Score

My credit score is currently at (570), and has been for about 3 years now. Most of my debt is from Hospital stays and the doctors who saw me during my stay. I had no health insurance at the time because I barely made enough money to survive. I have also had a friend whom I shared an apartment with steal my identity and sign up for credit cards and use them as her own while she went traveling across the country. Up until about a year ago when I went to apply for a loan so I could get a new car I didn’t even know these credit cards existed. Apparently I am in about ,000 worth of debt. My boyfriend and I are moving to TAMPA FL next year and I will need to get my credit score up a little higher if I want to be able to rent an apartment. I make about 00 a month, 0 of it goes to other bills and I’d say about 0 goes to other living expenses. About 0 a month right now is going towards saving for a car that I need desperately in order to get back and forth to work. I basically have 0 a month to spare as of right now. My dilemma is that I am willing to work with the collection agencies that keep bugging me on a daily basis but all of them seem to want my bills paid in full. Out of the 3 hospital bills 00, 000, and 00 I don’t know how I can possibly pay them all off at one time. My question is should I start paying off the 0-0 bills (My Ex-Friends) debt or should I worry about paying the big bills off first? I making my student loan payments on time which is helping out tremendously, but I am just so confused about how improve my credit score within the next year or so before I move. What is the credit score most landlords find acceptable now adays and what about car dealerships? If I can save 0 a month towards my debt for the time being will it be worth it eventually?

A lot of debt and bad credit score, what is the next step?

July 21st, 2011 by admin | 11 Comments | Filed in Good Bad Credit Score

I have a credit score of 501
I have 3 credit cards that are with collection agencies that total about 00
one medical bill with a collection agency that totals about ,500
I am a full time student and earn about 00 a month as nanny, but I get paid cash, no taxes
My bills for the month total 00 (rent, health insurance, electric bill, etc.)
I do not own a car nor do I have a morgage (in case you couldn’t have guessed that already)
Should I pay these collection agencies or should I wait until the 7 years is up when they will be taken off my credit report?

Is this going to give me a bad credit score?

June 24th, 2011 by admin | 4 Comments | Filed in Good Bad Credit Score

I’ve heard that when places pull your credit score, it can lower the score. I currently have no credit, but I just applied to lease an apartment. After they check my credit, will I then have a bad score because they pulled it?
If I were to suddenly apply for multiple credit cards or personal loans within a short time frame, would my score be lowered (considering I currently have no score)?

cnacelling credit cards with 0 balance and good credit?

March 14th, 2011 by admin | 5 Comments | Filed in Good Bad Credit Score

I have excellent credit and good credit score. I have bunches of credit cards, both store and visa, etc that I want to cancel. There are zero balances on all, haven’t used them in years, and just want them off my credit report as "closed by customer’s request" which shows they were not cancelled for any bad credit reason. Will this hurt my credit score?? I know if you have balances or delbt other places, it can hurt, but I have no debt and no balances on them. Thanks!
