I wanted to go over credit scores, but most specifically, I want to talk about the crazy weird quirks that I see on a daily basis on peoples’ credit scores that just absolutely makes their score take a dump. It’s for the stupidest little reasons that they don’t even know about, or they weren’t paying attention, or bills got sent to the wrong address. There’s just weird things. So I wanted to go over the main four things that I come across that may be happening to you right now that you don’t even realize that is affecting your score in the most negative way possible. I’m talking scores of 540 when you should be trying to aim for 680 or above. OK, 540 is very bad, it limits your lenders to like one, if that. In fact, at that point, you are probably looking at private financing. So for those of you who know your score is bad, get your actual report so you can take a look and see if any of these things are on there. If you don’t know your score, but you think it might be bad, go and get your score. You can buy them online, or if you are unsure of your score, just come to me, we can do an application up and see if you qualify for a mortgage.
